Hi! I’m Cassie, founder and chef of Luna Nourish. I have created Luna Nourish to offer an accessible, convenient way to fuel women’s bodies during their most vital time. A mother myself to a very active 4 year old boy, I reflect back on the time I was stepping into the role of motherhood. Pregnancy, labor and those first few months with a newborn were tough. Yep, I said it…It was all difficult. The changes my body went through, sleepless nights, hormonal imbalances and breastfeeding all took a toll on my wellbeing. As a trained chef, I take pride in the meals I create and the food I enjoy. However, while being a first time mom juggling the needs of a newborn, food seemed to be an absolute afterthought. There was no time, or energy for that matter. Casseroles delivered by friends, fast food, and microwaveable dinners became the norm. Looking back, what I would have given during that time to be able to nourish my body with nutrient-dense foods without having to cook them myself…And thus, Luna Nourish was born.

I’m a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Working in the food and hospitality industry for over 22 years I have been able to cultivate a dynamic career in serving others. My passion for food and service has led me down several paths. However I do believe, my most authentic calling is to cook for those around me. It is with food, I show my love.

As with the mother moon herself, women’s bodies travel through phases and the path to motherhood can be deep and transformative. Through these phases such as fertility, pregnancy, pre/post natal and lactation-Women’s bodies all require vital nutrients. Lunas’ menus were created to offer approachable delicious food, packed full of nutrients, that provide love to the mind and body as one. Our goal is aimed to support, uplift and nourish. I hope you enjoy!
